Your Ultimate Eras Tour Style Guide by Album

If you’re anything like me, the Eras Tour is your Super Bowl. And trust me, I’m not just any Taylor Swift fan—when I say I’ve listened to pretty much nothing but her discography for the past six years, I mean it with my whole heart. If you’ve seen anything from the tour, you know it’s a night to dress up as your favourite Taylor era and sing your heart out. I’ve spotted so many incredible outfits, and it’s been a blast seeing everyone dive into the lore. So, naturally, I had to create my own style guide for what I consider the event of the year!

I’m sure you’ve got your favourite Taylor album (mine’s reputation, in case you were wondering), so I’ve put together two different outfits for each era—one for any vibe you might be feeling. Whether you’re channeling your Fearless side, getting nostalgic for Red, or embracing the Midnights aesthetic, your outfit is the perfect way to represent your favourite album. From glittery glam to cozy cottage-core, I’ve got you covered with all the inspo you need to nail your look.

Let’s dive into some iconic outfit ideas that will turn heads and have you feeling like the main character at the Eras Tour!

Debut

“Teardrops on my Guitar” and “Our Song” were cultural resets. I said what I said!

Embrace Taylor's country roots with a flirty, laid-back vibe. Opt for denim tops, flowy skirts, and cowboy boots. Complete the look with a wide-brim hat or a stylish belt to pay homage to her early Nashville days. It’s all about that classic, sweet, girl-next-door charm!

Fearless

This era is particularly nostalgic for me because it marked the beginning of my love for Taylor. I actually attended her Fearless tour, and it was truly a core memory.

With these looks, you can channel your inner country princess with a gold fringe dress paired with a denim jacket. This era embodies fearless energy, so don’t hesitate to add some sparkle! Complete the look with a fun pair of cowboy boots for the perfect touch of country glam. You'll be ready to belt out "You Belong with Me" at the top of your lungs!

Speak Now

I was enchanted to make these Speak Now inspired fits (lol).

For a bold, enchanted vibe, try a shimmering silver blazer over a lavender satin top. Or, opt for a lilac tiered mini dress with silver ballet flats and a cozy, star-studded faux-fur jacket for a softer, whimsical feel. These looks will have sparks flying!

Red

Have you also been thinking about screaming “All Too Well (10 Minute Version) (Taylor’s Version)” at a Taylor Swift concert since it came out… or is that just me?

Embrace the Red era with these bold, statement-making looks! For a classic vibe, pair a crisp white jacket with denim jeans and a striking red top for that perfect blend of casual and chic.If you're going for a show-stopping look, opt for a sparkling sequin mini skirt. Add sheer red tights and pointed black heels to elevate the drama. I don’t know about you, but these looks will have you feeling 22.

1989

The 1989 era is an era that will never go out of style.

When I think of this era, I envision shades of blue, white, and silver. Embrace the glitz and glam with a polished look infused with retro vibes. Opt for a sequined top or a sparkling mini dress to achieve that effortlessly cool energy. Complete your ensemble with a chic white jacket and a sparkling accessory. Get ready to shake, shake, shake!

reputation

Reputation is my favourite album, and I truly regret not appreciating it during its initial release. Missing the Reputation Stadium Tour is a huge regret, so I’m especially excited to see this part of the show.

This era calls for a dark and edgy aesthetic. Think leather jackets, thigh-high boots, and black-on-black outfits. Have fun with gold accessories and don’t hesitate to incorporate some snake print (IYKYK). For glam, a smoky eye, bold red lip, and sleek ponytail or bun complete the look perfectly.

Lover

We all know screaming the bridge of "Cruel Summer" is going to be life-changing.

Kicking off the show with a bang, the Lover era is all about romantic vibes — think pastels and dreamy hues, with a touch of glitter! Opt for a pink dress or a sequin skirt in soft pinks, blues, or purples. Pair it with heart-shaped earrings and sparkly makeup for a fun and playful look. Don’t forget to add a pair of heels for a fun and flirty twist. This era embodies pure romance, so embrace the love and joy in every detail!

folklore

The album that arrived when we needed it most: folklore was truly the only good thing to come out of the pandemic.

Whether you want to channel your inner “mirrorball” or embrace cottage-core aesthetics, these looks are perfect for the era. For a “mirrorball” vibe, think silver, glitz, and fun earrings that will make you shine from every angle. On the other hand, if cottage-core is more your style, lean into your favourite plaid and coziest cardigan—bonus points if it’s the official Taylor Swift cardigan.

evermore

Remember when Taylor dropped this second surprise album a few months after folklore and it was everything?

Evermore embraces rustic, vintage vibes. Try pairing a flowy green dress with a denim jacket. For a touch of "champagne problems," opt for a champagne-colored blouse and champagne flute earrings. Finish the look with a long coat to enhance the whimsical, woodsy aura.

Midnights

Whether Karma is your boyfriend, or you’re rooting for the Anti-Hero, these two fits are perfect if Midnights was your favourite era.

Embrace dark, celestial glamour with a sequined dress paired with silver accessories to channel those late-night vibes. For a nod to the vintage '70s aesthetic of the album, opt for a denim jumpsuit with a pop of orange in your shoes. Finish your look with glittery eye makeup and consider adding a star accessory for that celestial touch.

The Tortured Poets Department

If you're like me, you're still trying to fully process everything about the TTPD album. From So Long, London to Guilty as Sin and So High School, I find myself loving it more with every listen.

If you're looking to channel the album's vibe for the tour, it's time to embrace your inner poet with these effortlessly edgy looks. For a romantic touch, style an off-shoulder white dress with sleek black gloves and bold white boots—think “running with my dress unbuttoned, screaming but Daddy I Love Him” energy. For a Tortured Poet’s look, go for a black halter top with a cute mini skirt. Both looks blend vintage elegance with modern rebellion, perfect for making a statement with a dash of drama.

I hope this guide inspires you to tap into your favorite era and gives you some ideas for what to wear to the Eras Tour. I had to channel all my Taylor Swift expertise somewhere! For my fellow Canadian girlies, I made sure to keep these outfits as weather-friendly as possible. If a look doesn’t include a jacket, just throw one on for the walk to the stadium. Once you're inside, you'll be dancing so much that your base outfit will be more than perfect!

If you’ve got tickets, savor every moment and soak in everything the tour has to offer. If you're still manifesting—keep the faith! Last-minute tickets will come your way!
